Deutsch: Rückseite einer Postkarte aus dem Jahr 1933 mit dem Titel „Das badische Konzentrationslager Ankenbuck“. Sie wurde kurz vor Weihnachten von einem Kaplan geschrieben, der dort die Häftlinge betreute. English: Back of a postcard from the year 1933 entitled "The Baden concentration camp Ankenbuck". It was written shortly before Christmas by a chaplain who took care of the prisoners there. Français : Dos d'une carte postale de l'année 1933 intitulée «Le camp de concentration de Baden, Ankenbuck». Il a été écrit peu de temps avant Noël par un aumônier qui a pris soin des prisonniers là-bas. |
| Handwriting | Abwechselnd mit dem evangelischen Geistlichen von Bad Dürkheim halte ich seit September Sonntags-Ansprachen auf „Ankenbuck“. Wenn ich nächsten Sonntag wieder dorthin komme zur Jahresschluß-Anssprache, wird es nach den zahlreichen Weihnachts= Entlassungen nicht eben leicht sein, für die in Haft Gebliebenen das rechte Wort und den Weg zum Herzen zu finden. Trotzdem hoffe ich, auch fürderhin bei meinen „Schützlingen“ manches Erfreuliche erleben zu dürfen. Es ist ergreifend, Tränen über Männerwangen rollen zu sehen und ein Leuchten aus dankbaren Augen, die beginnen, wieder nach den höheren Gütern auszuschauen und zum Ewigen aufzuschauen. Es geht mir im großen und ganzen befriedigend. Meine Schwester dagegen, die sich immer noch im „Veronikaheim“ in Bühl befindet, ist neuerdings wieder ans Bett gefesselt. Sie schließt sich meinen Wünschen bestens an. |
