| Description |
English: Dam and weir, Rheidol hydroelectric scheme Both structures are designed to smooth the output flow from the Rheidol hydroelectric power station which is a couple of kilometres upstream. The power station output goes directly into the artificial lake created by the dam seen in the distance, while the pool created by the weir breaks the force of the water flowing over the dam. |
