| Description |
English: Dam Bank Drove Concrete road across the fen, now topped with tarmac. Concrete roads are typified by short rigid sections very weakly, if at all, connected to each other. In the Fens the ground (dried peat) is extremely susceptible to subsidence. The effect of this is to create a very rough road as each of the sections move independently. |
