d'Aosta. I Dal Pozzo della Cisterna furono soprattutto noti come raffininati collezionisti, intenditori d'arte e mecenati.

The Dal Pozzo della Cisterna family has very ancient origins, divided into various branches that took up residence in various places in Italy. The most important branch, however, always remained that of Biella which died out in 1876 with Princess Maria Vittoria who married Amedeo di Savoia, duke of Aosta. The Dal Pozzo della Cisterna family were above all known as refined collectors, art connoisseurs and patrons.

La famille Dal Pozzo della Cisterna a des origines très anciennes, divisées en différentes branches qui ont élu domicile en divers endroits d'Italie. La branche la plus importante, cependant, est toujours restée celle de Biella qui s'est éteinte en 1876 avec la princesse Maria Vittoria qui a épousé Amedeo di Savoia, duc d'Aoste. La famille Dal Pozzo della Cisterna était avant tout connue comme un collectionneur raffiné, un amateur d'art et un mécène.
