Français : Ancien Palais Cardinal construit par Richelieu au 17e siècle. Palais Royal de 1643 à la Fronde. Conseil Constitutionnel : aile Montpensier construite en 1817 et 1831 par Pierre Fontaine pour Louis-Philippe, duc d'Orléans ; décoration des années 1830-1831 de style Empire. Conseil d'Etat : aile Valois du 18e siècle par Contant-d'Ivry ; aménagement de Fontaine (1815, salle des Trophées) ; rampe de l'escalier réalisée par le ferronnier Corbin et le bronzier Caffieri ; aile du Contentieux à l'emplacement de l'ancien opéra, reconstruite par Prosper Chabrol après l'incendie de 1871 ; aile Ouest entièrement refaite après l'incendie de 1871 : salle des assemblées générales décorée par Henri Martin de 1913 à 1926, chapelle de style néo-gothique, salle des Colonies aménagée de 1858 à 1862 par le prince Napoléon. Ministère de la Culture : aile 17e siècle de Lemercier, remaniée au 18e siècle par Contant-d'Ivry et au 19e siècle par Fontaine (pavillon de Valois). Comédie Française : théatre construit par Victor Louis entre 1786 et 1790 ; transformations par Pierre Fontaine en 1822 ; de 1860 à 1864, travaux de Prosper Chabrol (façade, grand escalier, foyer) ; après un incendie en 1900, reconstruction par Julien Guadet.
