Description
Čeština: Na tomto místě u obce Nowa Wieś v blízkosti města Kędzierzyn se uskutečnil dne 8. prosince 1939 slavnostní výkop průplavu Odra-Dunaj. Na Hlivický (Gliwický) průplav navazuje širokým ústím 6 km dlouhý úsek průplavu Odra-Dunaj, používaný jako odbočka přístavu chemického kombinátu v Kędzierzynu.
English: At this place was grounbreaking for the Oder-Danube Canal on December 8, 1939 near Nowa Wieś close to Kędzierzyn. From left to right is Gliwice canal with a wide mouth of a 6-km stretch of Oder-Danube Canal - a branch canal for the chemical factory in Kędzierzyn.
