English: side view of rack-mounted DEC PDP-8 serial number 85, delivered to the University of Iowa in early 1966, with rack side panel removed and computer extended from the rack on its mounting slides. The shiny object below the mounting slides is the power supply. The black cables extending down past the power supply are the I/O bus. This photo documents the machine before the start of restoration work. |
