Description
Français : Statue en fonte du peintre espagnol Francisco de Goya, né le 30 mars 1746 à Fuendetodos et décédé le 16 avril 1828 à Bordeaux. Statue réalisée par Mariano Benlliure y Gil de 1902, copie de l'oeuvre du Prado, don de la ville de Madrid à la ville de Bordeaux dans le cadre du jumelage. Sculpture inaugurée le 28 mars 1995 par le maire de Bordeaux et Mr le Consul général d'Espagne.
English: Statue in cast iron of the spanish painter Francisco de Goya, born in 1746 in Fuendetodos and dead in 1828 in Bordeaux. Statue made by Mariano Benlliure y Gil in 1902, copy of the work of the Prado, gift of Madrid to Bordeaux as part of a twinning. Unveiled the 28th March, 1995, by the mayor of Bordeaux and the general Consul of Spain.
