Description
English:

On June 10, 1910, a fire consumed 13 square blocks on the waterfront side of Belltown. The blaze started about 10:30pm when a spark from a passing locomotive ignited materials at Galbraith, Bacon & Co., burning a warehouse and stable. From there the fire spread eastward. This photo was published in The Seattle Daily Times under the headline "Evidence of Fire's Fury" and was taken looking up Wall Street at the burned shell of Puget Sound Sheet Metal Works and the Glenorchy Hotel.
