Español: La obra representa a Jesucristo junto a la mujer samaritana en el pozo. Este lienzo pertenece a una serie de doce cuadros sobre la vida de Jesucristo, con sus marcos dorados originales, que proceden de la iglesia conventual de la Merced Calzada de Valladolid. Vienen atribuyéndose al pintor granadino Pedro Atanasio Bocanegra, al menos desde el inventario de 1843, y la atribución no se ha modificado hasta el presente.
