Description
English: Sgt. Casey Young, a mortarman assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, attached to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, shines his light through a security fence that lines a main supply route in Baghdad al-Jidida May 2 as Soldiers of "Crazy Horse" Company conduct a dismounted route clearance mission in central Baghdad. The Soldiers conduct daily route clearance missions to ensure the highway that runs near their combat outpost to Forward Operating Base Rustamiyah stays clear of improvised explosive devices and explosively formed projectiles. The 1st Bn., 66th Armor Regt. is part of the 1st BCT, 4th Infantry Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and deployed for a 15-month rotation in support of MND-B and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
