Description
English: Cast-copper alloy Coventry half penny token. Late 18th century. Reverse inscription 'PRO BONO PUBLICO' with an image of Lady Godiva, date worn away normally date inscripted 1792. Obverse is unusual instead of the normal elephant with tower on his back the penny depicts just a lone standing tower, little off center. Inscription on obverse reads 'COVENTRY HALF PENNY'
