Description North side of 2500 block of 13th Street in Columbus, Nebraska. The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The rightmost building ("The Groom's Store") is the former Reece Shoe Co., at 2512, built ca. 1913. The building to its left, with "Columbus Music" on the awning, is the Hansen Building, at 2514, built ca. 1914. The pale green building to the left of that is a former bowling alley, at 2516, built ca. 1902. The brick building partly visible at the left of the picture is the former Palace Meat Market, at 2518, built ca. 1913. The former bowling alley is a non-contributing property in the Historic District; the other three buildings are contributing properties.
