Summary[edit]
DescriptionColectivos in Buenos Aires, Argentina (15757023877).png |
I spotted this red, white and blue 102 on the way to the Constitucion station, paused halfway through the crosswalk to pivot torso and lens, and deposited this image onto my memory card. I regarded the colectivos as the star-and-then-some of the Buenos Aires transit network. My Cicerones guide Clara explained that the bus vs. rail choice for porteños is often between an inexpensive, leisurely ride on a colectivo and a pricier, quicker trip on a packed-to-the-gills Subte. (Although the Subte wasn't always jammed during my days in B.A. Often, but not always.) |
