| Description |
English: This image, taken by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board ESA’s Mars Express spacecraft, shows a section of the Ophir Chasma, a northern part of the Valles Marineris canyon.
This perspective view was calculated from the digital terrain model derived from the stereo channels. It shows a view looking west across the slopes of collapsed material at the northern end of the valley, with the scarp on the right. |
