Description

Igreja da Misericórdia, de estilo barroco, foi construída durante o reinado de D. João V, Sec XVII, como comprova o escudo com as suas armas que sobrepuja a porta principal. A frontaria é ladeada por duas torres sineiras, rematadas por duas cúpulas piramidais. Por sua vez, o interior, apresenta uma só nave e é, maioritariamente, decorado por calha barroca. Presume-se ter havido uma anterior construção maneirista reformada um século depois, pois foi encontrado o túmulo de um fundador, Simão Antunes de Pina, datado de 1611.

Church of the Compassion, of baroque style, was built during the reign of D. João V, XVII Century, as it proves the shield with his arms that surpasses the principal door. The front is flanked by two bells towers finished by two pyramidal domes. The interior, he presents an alone nave and he is decorated by baroque gutter. It is presumed had been a previous construction reformed mannerist one century later, so the tomb of a founder was found, Simão Antunes de Pina, dated from 1611.
