Description

This fine Christmas tree is a reminder of Christmases past. A big natural tree with objects not as frequently seen on such trees today including tinsel, crackers and candles. From the Clonbrock collection, and we assume that it was placed in a large drawing room. A danger for trees today is the family cat climbing up and tipping it over, I wonder did the Dillons have that problem?

While we were already pretty certain this was taken by the Dillons "at home" at Clonbrock Estate, with thanks to [/photos/129555378@N07/ sharon.corbet] we have a corroborating image - and so we have updated the location map to reflect. Thanks all and best wishes for the season...
