This photo also appears in Bruce Moffat, Forty Feet Below, Interurban Press, 1982, page 27, with the caption: "... Jeffrey Locomotive 130, looking toward State Street just after the floor was lowered to meet the tunnel grade." This photo is obviously posed -- there are no overhead wires in place yet to power the locomotive. |
