English: A letter by Charles V to his aunt and governess of the Netherlands, Margaret of Austria, dated Zaragoza October 19 (1518).

Transcription:

Madame ma bonne tante. J'ay veu ce que avez escript a mon cousin et grand chambellan, le Sieur de Chièvres, et les lettres que lui avez envoyé venant du Cardinal de Syon ensemble la Response que lui avez faite que J'ay trouvé tres bonne. Et vous mercye de voz bons advertissements et de la diligence que vous faictes en tous mes affaires vous pryant y continuer. En ensuivant vostre adviz J'escript aux Cardinal de Syon et a mon ambassadeur a Rome en sa faveur, ainsi que verrez par la copie des lettres que Je vous envoye pour les luy faire tenir. Et adieu madame ma bonne tante que vous ait en sa saincte garde. Escript a Saragosse le XIX jour d'octobre.
