Des générations d'enfants ont connu jusqu'à　fin des années 70, les guide-chants qui étaient utilisés pour la pratique de la musique à l'école.
En Normandie la fabrique Richard d'Étrépagny en fabriquait plusieurs modèles.

nisme de tirettes qui permet d'actionner les notes de musique des-
sines sur l'instrument. Cet instrument est destine à l'enseignement de
la musique dans les écoles.
