| Description |
The Cermak-Chinatown platform, looking north on April 20, 2011, still has its original aggregate flooring and plexiglas skylight "bubbles", now darkened after decades of exposure to the elements. The Loop skyline provides a satisfying backdrop, as new development in the north end of Chinatown fills the left. The tabs on the station name signs were only recently modified to list the exits, following the opening of the new, accessible Cermak station house a few days before.
