Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Loreto Hovels, what was left of the Palace of the Marquises of Marialva, in Chiado, Lisbon, in the 19th century. Following the 1755 earthquake, the ruined palace was abandoned by the family, and it was divided into shabby houses and shops. By the late 19th-century, the structure was demolished, to create the current Luís de Camões Square.
Português: Os Casebres do Loreto, o que restava do Palácio dos Marqueses de Marialva, no Chiado, Lisboa, no século XIX. Após o Terramoto de 1755, o palácio em estado de semi-ruina foi abandonado pela família, e foi dividido em pequenas habitações e lojas. No século XIX, a estrutura foi terraplanada, para dar lugar ao actual Largo Luís de Camões.
