Photo during construction
This postcard seems to be based on this photo, take during construction. However, the postcard shows the Geyser Basin filled in, which is completely anachronistic for having only these buildings completed. In the construction photo, the Alaska Building and U.S. Government Building have not yet been started. The Auditorium is visible in more or less this position, not yet blocked by the Alaska Building, and Parrington Hall (right of the Alaska Monument) is not yet blocked by the U.S. Government Building.
