Description
English: This figure shows the annual fossil fuel carbon dioxide emissions, in million metric tons of carbon, for a variety of non-overlapping regions covering the Earth.

Data source: Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (http://cdiac.ornl.gov/CO2_Emission/timeseries/regional).

Regions are sorted from largest emitter to the smallest (as of 2013).

Countries (as listed on CDIAC site):

"Communist East Asia" (Centrally Planned Asia) = China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), Democratic Republic of Vietnam, French Indo-China, Mongolia, Republic of South Vietnam, Vietnam
