Description
English: Double-headed eagle in crest; in the variant used in Wallachia by the Cantacuzino family of princes and boyars. As found for instance in: Dan Cernovodeanu, Știința și arta heraldică în România, p. 251. Bucharest: Editura științifică și enciclopedică, 1977. OCLC 251749963, rendering an engraving from Șerban Cantacuzino's edition of the Gospel. This variant is colored or, but coloring may lack or vary with source.
