Description
English: TVA photo showing the Calderwood Dam powerhouse, looking downstream along the Little Tennessee River (left). The photo was titled "Calderwood Power House, looking downstream: 1939." ARC identifier 280751. The larger dark-colored building on the left is the powerhouse, and the smaller lighter-colored building on the right is the valve house. The wall rising up the cliffslope protects the complex from rockslides.
