| Description |
1977-1984 GM C-Body Coupe It's hard to see that these were truly downsized Cadillacs given current automotive sizes, these remain tremendous cars with lots of presence. Here the C-Pillar alone almost deserves its own ZIP Code but serves its purpose, wide and ready to shade its occupants from view, not that the owner of a personal luxury coupe would be toting too many people around in the back seat. This version, in the post-1980 redesign, shows off the crisp lines typical of GM products of its time and is ultimately forgettable: when it doesn't look much more than an upmarket B-Body then you've made Caprice owners very happy while Cadillac owners wonder where the prestige has gone (and you won't recover it with a vinyl skin). |
