Description
English: There is Coptic script on this stone. The most high row on this picture taken in February of 2003. The rest is 'vandalism'.

The story is that it is from an era before Portuguese touched ground on the Cape Verde Islands. Actually when they found it there where 'certain tools and installations' near it to make liquor. Nowadays that story is scenically bastardized with jokes about UFO's. Cape Verdeans have to be cautious with the history they are responsible over. In the process of looking down to them selves and their history, these kind of world heritage is in danger of disappearing and so doing they are wiping out world heritage. Maintaining ones identity is a responsibility that everyone owes next generations.

I will remove the picture only if proven wrong.
