Description
Nederlands: Lontarhandschrift. Het verhaal van Yusuf (Jozef) wordt in soera 12 van de Koran verteld. Het is de langste vertelling van de Koran en de enige soera die een complete literaire eenheid vormt. Om deze reden wordt de soera veel geciteerd. Het verhaal van Jozef vormt ook een hoofdthema in veel poëzie en proza. Overigens bestaan er regionale varianten van het verhaal.
