Nederlands: De takelwagen is door de 12 jarige Hassän Mwalago uit Kwale gemaakt. Het is een, enigszins ouderwets, rechthoekig model met rechte cabine. Achterop is een plastic katrol waarover een koord loopt schuin beestigd. Aan dit koord hangt een opgetakelde open vrachtwagen met opzettelijk scheef geplaatste wielen en een openwippende motorkap. Dit soort auto's worden meestal door jongens gemaakt die deze snijkunst op school leren. De speelgoedauto's zijn vaak te zien aan de kust van Kenya, op straat of bij de hut. |
