| Description | Scrabo Tower, Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland. Door lintel, plaque and coat of arms. Plaque enscription reads: "Erected in memory of Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquis of Londonderry, K.G. & c. By his tenants and friends. Fame belongs to history. Rememberance to us. 1857.". Coat of arms/motto reads: " Metuenda corolla draconis" (Latin: The dragon’s crest is to be feared = Stewart/Londonderry motto).
