Description
English: Created by Anna Hyatt Huntington and dedicated in 1930, this sculpture of the 11th-century Spanish hero, El Cid, was made from a mold of the original statue in the court of the Hispanic Society of America in New York. A third one is in Seville, Spain. A 4th in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A 5th one in San Francisco, California. Exist a 6th one in Valencia, Spain copied from Seville one by other author.
Español: Escultura del héroe español del siglo XI, El Cid. Creada por Anna Hyatt Huntington e inaugurada en 1930. Hecha del molde de una estatua anterior localizada en el patio de la Sociedad Hispánica de América en Nueva York. Hay otras copias en Sevilla (España), en Buenos Aires (Argentina) y otra más en San Francisco (EE.UU.). Existe una sexta copia en Valencia, realizada a partir de la existente en Sevilla.
