| Description |
English: Byway west of Carreg y Frân, Powys Traversing the side of Carreg y Frân along the Tywi valley towards Strata Florida. The route involves several potentially hazardous fords, and is rough and stony in some places, so standard road vehicles must not use it. It is popular with "off-roaders" who sometimes travel it in convoys. Cyclists who don't object to a bit of rough and wet feet (always) will enjoy this road. Lôn Las Cymru (the Welsh long distance cycle route) offers an alternative drier route through the forest ahead, but it's a long way! |
