For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Westhausen, Blick auf den Kindergarten
ADN-ZB Schaar 3.7.76 Bez. Suhl: 1200 Jahre Westhausen. Die 700 Einwohner zählende Gemeinde Westhausen im Kreis Hildburghausen feiert mit einer Festwoche vom 3. bis 11.7.76 ihr 1200jähiges Bestehen. Objekte im Wert von 2, 3 Millionen Mark wurden von den Bürgern von 1971 bis 1976 geschaffen, u.a. dieses Gebäude mit 60 Kindergarten- und 30 Krippenplätzen. Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung fand Westhausen im Jahre 776, als es mit Einwohnern und Leibeigenen im 8. Regierungsjahr Karls des Großen an das Stift in Fulda verschenkt wurde. (siehe 5 und 6 N) |
