Deutschland 1946 (sowjetische Besatzungszone)
Kienitz im Oderbruch wurde im II. Weltkrieg schwer zerstört. In dem sonst 1.400 Einwohner zählenden Ort lebten nur noch 500 Menschen, davon waren die Hälfte verwaiste Kinder. Der Berliner Frauenausschuß unterstützte die Behebung der dringendsten Not und sammelte für die Kienitzer Betten, Decken, Bekleidungstücke, Möbel und auch Spielzeug für die Kinder.

UBz.: Freudig verlassen die Kienitzer die Sammelstelle, in der die Spenden verteilt wurden.
