For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kitzscher, Spielplatz der Kinderkrippe ADN-ZB Raphael 30.7.74 Bez. Leipzig: Am großen Frosch spielen alle gern. Große Tierplastiken machen den Jüngsten in der Kinderkrippe "Haus des Friedens" große Freude. Die Heranwachsenden spüren nichts davon, daß Kitzscher im Bornaer Braunkohlegebiet eine ehemalige Landarbeitergemeinde ist. In den letzten Jahren entwickelte sich die mehr als 8000 Einwohner zählende Heimat vieler Kraftwerker und Bergarbeiter zu einem modernen Wohngebiet. (Vergl. N0730-6N und 8N)
