Zentralbild Tre-Kt. 7.12.1962 Beste Sportler des Jahres geehrt. Die besten DDR-Sportler des Jahres 1962, die aus der traditionellen Leserumfrage der "Jungen Welt" als Sieger hervorgingen, wurden am 6.12.1962 während einer Veranstaltung der Sektion Sportjournalisten des Verbandes Deutscher Journalisten im Berliner Presseclub feierlich geehrt. Die zweifache Euopameisterin Ingrid Krämer bei den Frauen, der Weltmeister im Spezialsprung-Lauf Helmut Recknagel bei den Männer und die Frauenweltrekord- Europameisterstaffel im viermal-Hundert-Meter Lagenschwimmen bei den Mannschaften waren von den Lesern des Zentralorgans der Freien Deutschen Jugend zu den Siegern auserkoren worden UBz.: Nach der Auszeichnung eröffnete Helmut Recknagel und Ingrid Krämer den Tanz im Berlner Presseclub. |
