Weihnachten im Aufnahmeheim Barby
Im Aufnahmeheim Barby, Kreis Schönebeck, reißt der Strom der Westzonen-Flüchtlinge und Rückkehrer nicht ab. Die Heimleitung hat alle Vorkehrungen dafür getroffen, dass die Abfertigung der Neuankömmlinge möglichst schnell von statten geht, damit möglichst viele das Weihnachtsfest und das neue Jahr bereits in ihren neuen Wohnorten in der DDR begehen können.

Frau Waltraud Plonus, Landarbeiterin aus Hannover, ist mit ihren drei Kindern in die DDR gekommen, um hier einer LPG beizutreten oder auf einem Volksgut zu arbeiten. Im Büro der Leitung des Aufnahmeheims zeigt sie ihrem Söhnchen Dirk die schönen Spielsachen, die der Weihnachtsmann für die Kinder der Westzonenflüchtlinge bereitgestellt hat.
