For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schenkberg, Kindergartengruppe Zentralbild Weiß Vgt-L 17.1.1959 LPF Schenkberg-achtfacher Millionäre Auf große Erfolge kann die LPG "7.Oktober" (Typ III) in Schenkberg, Kreis Delitzsch, zurückblicken. Die Genossenschaft, die heute bei 327 Mitgliedern und 1337 ha LNF grgründet. Schenkenberg mit seinen fünf Ortsteilen zählt heute noch sieben einzelwirtschaftende Bauern. Seit Bestehen der LPG wurden 8 neue Ställe errichtet, 13 große Stallumbauten vorgenommen und 250.000 DM für soziale und kulturelle Einrichtungen ausgegeben. Laufend stieg auch der Wert der Arbeitseinheiten. Betrug er 1953 real nur 97 Pfenninge, so waren es 1957 bereits 6, 63 DM und für das vergangene Jahr wurden 9.- DM errechnet, wovon 8.- DM zur Auszahlung kommen. Für 1959 sind 12.- DM geplant. UBz: Ruth Kothe betreut die kleinen Schenkenberger im Kindergarten. Vier von fünf Ortsteilen haben einen Kindergarten und eine Kinderkrippe.
