For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bottmersdorf, Gruppe eines Erntekindergartens Zentralbild Biscan Weiß-Qu 29.3.1957 Ernte Kinderkrippe. Der Rat des Kreises Manzleben hat in Bottmersdorf die Ernte Kinderkrippe eröffnet, in der die kleinen Kinder der Bauern und Landarbeiter während der Sommermonate gut aufgehoben sind. Die Mütter können jetzt unbesorgt und unbehindert ihrer Arbeit nachgehen. Sie wissen ihre Kleinsten in guten Händen. Aufnahme finden Kinder im Alter bis zu drei Jahren. UBz: Die "Tanten"" Rosmarie Utee (links) und Ilse Nattbias mit den Kindern im Freien. Der Hof, in dem sich jetzt die Ernte-Kinderkrippe und auch die Schule befinden, gehörte früher dem Gutsbesitzer Niemann.
