Berlin Viele Kleingärtner und Siedler haben Zuckerrüben geerntet, doch Sirupkochen erfordert viel Zeit und Brennmaterial. Aus diesen Gründen sind die zugelassenen Sirupkochereien stark in Anspruch genommen und verarbeiten die angelieferten Mengen der Kleingärtner. Für einen Zentner gewaschener Zuckerrüben gibt es 12 Pfund Sirup gegen eine Gebühr von 11.- DM. (Sirupkocherei in Kaulsdorf) U.B.z.: Die kleinen Mengen wachsen zu Bergen Aufn.: Illus/Blunck 27.10.48
