For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Biscan Str-Be. 14.8.1952 Elektrozaun in der Viehwirtschaft. Die Rinder des Bauern Albrecht Klotz in Vahldorf be Haldensleben, der Vorsitzender der BHG seines Dorfes ist, brachen immer wieder aus der Koppel aus und suchten sich besseres Futter auf den Feldern des Nachbarn. Um das zu vermeiden, ging Klotz als erster Bauer der Umgebung zum Elektrozaun über, der jeden Ausbruchsversuch unterbindet und auch sonst große Vorteile aufweist. Für die Einzäunung des Weideplatzes benötigt er jetzt nur noch ein Viertel des früher notwendigen Holzes und ein Drittel des Drahtes. Der Strombedarf ist so gering, daß der Zähler kaum anspricht. UBz, Während erwachsene Tiere sorgsam darauf achten, daß sie den Zaun nicht berühren, können die Ferkel unbehindert hin und her laufen. Bauer Klotz spannte die Drähte so, damit die Ferkel Futter bekommen, an das die erwachsenen Tiere nicht herankönnen. |
