Description
English: Owned by John Montana - one of the higher-ups in the Buffalo Mafia family as well as a two-term Niagara District councilman - the Van Dyke Taxi and Transfer Company had a monopoly on all ground transportation to and from the Central Terminal from 1929, when it opened for business, until 1957, when Montana was outed as a Mafia member during the famous state police raid of the Apalachin Meeting.
