Summary[edit]

Description Budafok, városközpont, 1221 Budapest XXII. ker. Városház tér 11 szám. 1926-ban rendezett tanácsú várossá minősítették a mai XXII. kerületet. A régi Kossuth utcai községháza már nem volt elegendő az új és egyre bővülő lakossági feladatok ellátására. Barthó Lajos tervei szerint a korábbi Brázay gyár két épületére azonos magasságú és architektúrájú emeletet húztak és beillesztették a készülő városházába. A kivitelező Reiber Lőrinc volt. Az 1929-ben megválasztott közgyűlés már itt tartotta első ülését, s a helyi képviselő-testület tanácskozásainak ma is a díszterem ad otthont.
