Description
English: Incomplete copper alloy Colchester brooch. The brooch has a rearward hook holding a copper alloy spring in place. The spring has three turns. The bow is oval in section and tapers to a pointed foot. The bow is arched in profile with a slightly kicking foot. The catchplate is mostly missing however it appears to be openwork.
