English: A depiction of the reverse of a gold stater from the mints of Cunobelinus from the figures decorating the margins of Moll's map of Essex, sold separately and as Map 20 in his Set of Fifty New and Correct Maps of England and Wales...


The illustration derives from figure 3 of Tabula I Nummi Britannici on Page 87 of William Camden's Britannia, Vol. I. Its note states "The third is also the same Cunobeline's, with a horse and CVNO; and with an ear of corn [i.e., wheat] and CAMV, which seems to stand for Camalodunum, the palace of Cunobeline." Various possible categorizations depending on the actual object above the horse (1).
