English: Bridleway near Brownlee Hill The path curves down and left past the intake wall to Splitty Lane End in NY8358. Some of the houses in Catton can just be seen (half right) through a gap in the stone walls in the direct line of the first part of the path. The two chimneys at the ends of the lead smelting flues above Allendale are on the horizon (half left). |
