| Description |
English: Braemar Highland Games (1979) Preparations for 'Tossing the Caber'. The tree pole has to be lifted to the vertical resting on the chest of the thrower, then tossed 'bottom over top' to land as close as possible to the 'twelve o'clock position' in the direction of the throw. A feat not always achieved exactly; and then at Braemar there is a super-weight caber waiting to challenge the competition winner to try his hand with that one. See Caber_toss |
