English: Boscombe: former monumentalists The stonework along the top of this building, now a motorcycle dealership and butcher, reads "Samuel J. Alsford & Sons" between the words 'cemetery' and 'masons'. The word 'monumentalists' is on the left-facing end, in a poor state of repair the stonemasons would no doubt have been quick to remedy this if they still occupied the premises! |
