English: A small rectangular building with a flat roof is built on a hillside, partially surrounded by trees and shrubs. Bluffs Picnic Area - Doughton Park. This comfort station, constructed c. 1957-1959, is the second of two buildings in the picnic area. It has a more utilitarian style, consistent with its date of construction, and it located in a more secluded area of the landscape. The comfort station remains and is in good condition. However, it was built after 1955 and did not contribute to the parkway as a National Historic Landmark a the time of the nomination.
